About David
As a Senior Associate in Moore Barlow’s family team, I have over 25 years of experience in all areas of family law.
I specialise in financial aspects of divorce and separation cases, quite often with complex elements such as those with an international dimension, involving businesses or trusts. I am committed to providing a high quality, empathetic service to meet the needs of an individual and their family. I provide practical, straightforward and focused advice, helping clients navigate complex and often difficult situations. I have proven technical ability to guide and support clients so they obtain the very best of outcomes for them.
Educated in Sheffield, I studied Law and French Law at University College, London and Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III. After attending The College of Law, Chester, I qualified as a solicitor in 2000. My career has focused exclusively on family law. I initially practised in Norfolk, North Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City before working for several large London practices. I am a member of Resolution, a group of family law professionals who strive to deal with family matters in a constructive manner, putting the needs of families at the forefront of legal practice and sit on their London Regional Committee.
I live in Southwest London, love a pub quiz and am a member of a local team. I enjoy a decent meal and all types of cuisine as well as foreign travel. The more culturally different, the better.
I find gardening relaxing and therapeutic, especially watching nature taking its course.
