About John
I am a Legal Director in the Family team at Moore Barlow.
As a specialist in family law with over 40 years’ experience, I typically act for high‑net‑worth individuals, ranging from prominent businesspeople to household names in the world of sport. My clients have included British Olympians, Premier League footballers, international rugby players and others.
Recognised by leading directories for my expertise, I advise on the full spectrum of divorce matters, including matrimonial finance, the division of business assets, and complex private child law issues such as international surrogacy, international adoption and special guardianship applications. Over the course of my career, I have represented and advised thousands of clients facing divorce, and have acted on particularly significant settlements, including complex prenuptial arrangements worth tens of millions of pounds.
I have previously been a partner in large law firms and also ran my own specialist divorce practice, John Randle Associates.
Outside of work, I am a keen amateur tennis player, chess enthusiast, and travel‑loving Francophile. Originally from the Midlands, I am also an avid Aston Villa supporter.
