About Amber
I am a Paralegal in the Private Wealth team in our Gateway office in Southampton.
Within this role, I support solicitors and clients across a broad range of private wealth matters, ensuring that each case is managed with care and efficiency. I also play an active role in supporting the wider team and helping keep our daily operations running smoothly.
Having worked extensively in client-facing roles, I genuinely enjoy getting to know the individuals and families I assist. Building long-term, trusting relationships is one of the most rewarding aspects of working in Private Wealth, where matters often continue over time.
As an aspiring lawyer, I bring enthusiasm, commitment, and a real desire to grow within the profession. I’m always keen to learn from my colleagues and continually develop my legal skills so that I can deliver the highest level of support to both the team and our clients.
Between 2022 and 2025, I completed my LLB at the University of Exeter. During this time, I founded and led a society focused on mentoring and supporting law students in both their studies and wellbeing. Creating an inclusive space where students felt encouraged and confident was one of the most rewarding parts of my degree.
Seeing the real difference that guidance and reassurance could make shaped my ambition to work in law. The experience taught me how valuable it is to help others navigate challenging situations—something I now carry into my legal career, supporting clients with the same empathy, clarity and dedication.
My long-term goal is to qualify as a solicitor by undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and to continue building my career at Moore Barlow.
Outside of work, I enjoy anything creative, especially sewing my own clothes. I’m also deeply passionate about the ocean and enjoy going surfing whenever I can. Most of all, I value spending quality time with my family and friends.
